TITLE
"Some Empirical Observations on Term Life Insurance: Revisited," Journal of Insurance Issues and Practices, Williams, Arthur L., 1984, Vol. VII, No. 1: 52-62.

ABSTRACT
This article updates a prior paper on term life insurance. The author felt that the original paper needed updating to satisfy demands made on him by people in business, government, and education. The article combines some of the original data with recent data to give a 45-year perspective on term experience. Five categories of experience are considered. They are: in force, expiration, lapse, conversion, and death. The paper engages only marginally in speculation and leaves plenty of room for interpretation by the reader.
