TITLE
"The Effect of Insurance Education on Students' Attitudes Toward Risk," Journal of Insurance Issues, Steven M. Cassidy and Leroy Franklin. June 1990, Vol. XIII, No. 2, pp. 56-67.

ABSTRACT
This article reports the results of a systematic study of the changes in student attitudes toward risk after taking an introductory insurance course. The results suggest that taking an insurance course does cause changes in risk attitudes. Attitude changes appear to differ based upon pure risk and speculative risk situations.
